Blogger wins my newbie “ease of use” test…

December 30th, 2008

OH YEAH! Blogger is indeed easy to declare up and use… Easy to customize with widgets, and according to reviews that follow, submissive to “monetize”. I force still as likely as not keep them both against a while. joined since “around”, an individual to “get serious” (???).

Both WordPress.com and Blogger.com are among the most popular loose blogging services. A couple of days ago I signed up with both of them without doing much digging ahead of without delay. I knew I wanted to be adept to mail photos, and that I could post directly to Blogger from Google’s Picasa, which I usability to manage my photos. I also liked the miniature Flickr widget on tap at WordPress and the all-embracing more gracious look of its pages. I wanted to plug a feel after both of them myself.

I started with WordPress.com. (I had reach-me-down Blogger before, years ago.) After only two days, I can claim that I specially like the ease of acquisition of the dashboard and the apt-made themes, as well as the absence of ads. However, I am already feeling a little “cramped” by the inability to use the cool widgets I establish at WidgetBox on a free blog (no javascript allowed).

Before I go much further with either one of these tools, I thought I ought to find out a meagre more respecting them both. Here are two useful comparisons that may diversion other newbies:
